Overseas Korean residence reports

In 2024, 553,664 overseas Koreans of foreign nationality filed a residence report. By nationality, Korean-Chinese is the largest group with 389,544; by place, 239,460 live in Gyeonggi-do, 43.3% of the total.

Note: holders of the F-4 overseas Korean status file a place-of-residence report rather than a foreign-resident registration. They therefore do not appear on the residence-status page or in the registered-foreigner figures of the district reports, which is why this page exists. This count cannot be added to the figures on other pages.

Note: the yearbook publishes this at province level only, so there are no district figures.
