Registered foreigners in Chungcheongbuk-do Jincheon-gun number 9,014, which is 10.41% of the resident-registration population of 86,580. Language demand estimated from the nationality composition is highest for Vietnamese, then Uzbek, then Chinese.

Foreign residents (MOIS) numbered 14,081 in 2024, which is 14.6% of the resident-registration population of 96,544. Of these, 12,135 do not hold Republic of Korea nationality, 865 have acquired nationality, and 1,081 are children of foreign residents. By type, foreign workers number 4,513, other foreigners 4,343, overseas Koreans with foreign nationality 2,536, and Marriage migrants 656. Children of foreign residents number 1,081, which ranks 118 among 252 districts and is 7.7% of foreign residents in this district. Among the 9,014 people with a known status of stay, the most common are Non-professional Employment (E9) with 3,797 people at 42.1%, Permanent Residence (F5) with 930 at 10.3%, and G1 (G1) with 803 at 8.9%. Organizations that support immigrants number 4 in this district, or 4.4 per 10,000 registered foreigners.
