Registered foreigners in Jeollabuk-do Jeongeup-si number 3,783, which is 3.74% of the resident-registration population of 101,123. Foreign residents (MOIS) numbered 6,398 in 2024, which is 6.3% of the resident-registration population of 101,887. Of these, 4,584 do not hold Republic of Korea nationality, 666 have acquired nationality, and 1,148 are children of foreign residents. By type, other foreigners number 2,092, foreign workers 1,296, International studentss 505, and Marriage migrants 457. Children of foreign residents number 1,148, which ranks 110 among 252 districts and is 17.9% of foreign residents in this district. Among the 3,783 people with a known status of stay, the most common are Non-professional Employment (E9) with 1,198 people at 31.7%, Marriage Migration (F6) with 419 at 11.1%, and Seasonal Worker (E8) with 376 at 9.9%. Organizations that support immigrants number 3 in this district, or 7.9 per 10,000 registered foreigners.
